Lion Football Team Still Young But Lots of Experience

The Lone Tree Lion football team is hoping their experience will help them in this upcoming season. Lion Head Coach Mike Miller says they have around 35 out which is just a little higher than their typical numbers. He says they nine returning starters on offense and eight returners on defense with a lot of those kids juniors. As for the off season, kids were lifting three times a week and they took part in a camp at William Penn as well as play in Clear Creek-Amana’s 7 on 7 league. Lone Tree will have a sports drink scrimmage on Friday and open the season a week from Friday at Highland.
