The ISU Extension is hosting a farm field day next month to see research projects in progress. These field days will also provide an opportunity for farmers and the public to talk with the researchers involved in the experiments as well as view the latest in modern agriculture.
These field days in the summer focus on corn and soybean production, insect and weed management, soil fertility, tillage systems, water quality, planting dates, crop population, manure management and value-added crops.
The last field day for this year will be held next month in Crawfordsville. Farmers and the public are invited to the Southeast Research and Demonstration Farm on September 8th starting at 1:00 pm.
