The Sigourney Savage volleyball team also opens their season tonight. The Savages go on the road to play Albia. Savage Head Coach Chris Carter says they come into the season with some experience with more returners than last year. She says one of the nice things about this squad is their versatility with several girls who can play multiple positions. She also says it’s a pretty big group of seniors and with their height, she feels they be able to hit well and block.
