The WACO Warriors football program has had a couple of big senior groups the last two seasons, but they won’t have that luxury this season. Head Coach Chad Edeker has said he really likes to have a lot seniors because they seem to play with a lot of urgency knowing it’s their last season. He says this season they have around 40 kids out and eight of them are seniors with six that have played in the past. Edeker says they have seven returning letter winners and six of them are returning starters. He says consequently the learning curve has been a little slower. The Warriors have a sports drink scrimmage on Friday. They open the season in Victor facing HLV on August 26th.
