The Washington Community Theatre and Directors Doug and Beth McBride have announced the cast for the play “Leaving Iowa.”  The main cast includes Steven Lockard, Melaine Jeter-Hawkins, Melody Lockard and Brett Pierson.

Doug McBride says “Leaving Iowa” is a comedic play about a man who is trying to find a proper resting place for his father’s ashes and is reminiscing about family vacations and Midwest values.

He says the play is divided into two acts and will be performed at the Washington Community Theater on October 14th and 15th at 7:30 p.m. and October 16 at 2:30 p.m.
