[simage=2241,400,n,center]A line of severe thunderstorms brought heavy rain and gusty winds to Washington County early Sunday morning, leaving the dugout at Stewart Elementary’s baseball diamond turned over into the street.  The dugout blew over onto its top after 60 mile an hour wind gusts hit Washington around 12:30 a.m.

Jeffery Dieleman of the Washington School District’s central office says school officials will wait to make a decision to replace the dugout until Superintendent Dr. Mike Jorgensen returns from a trip out of town.

School officials ask that residents stay clear of the damaged dugout until crews have completed the cleanup.
