The Wellman City Council has taken the next steps to hiring a new city administrator.  After a work session last week, the council has begun advertising the position.

Current City Administrator Dave Ross says he’s played an active role in the process.  He says he’s written up the job description for his position, which has first been posted on national job websites.

He says the city council will soon be putting out local ads for the position as well.  Ross recently accepted the city administrator’s job in Mt. Horab, Wisconsin.

The Wellman City Council will have a special meeting August 27 to discuss applications they receive and review potential candidates.
