A Wellman teen is one of nineteen Iowa 4-H members to receive an Iowa State Fair 4-H Scholarship. The Iowa Foundation for Agriculture Advancement awarded Kyle Huber of the 76 Progressives 4-H Club a $1,000 scholarship. Huber is a graduate of Keota High School and has been spent nine years as a member of 4-H.
He’s been involved areas such as safety, engineering solutions, and woodworking, and he’s also shown market beef and bucket and bottle calves.
He’s also served as his club’s secretary and treasurer.
Huber says he plans to attend Iowa State University in the fall as an animal science and agriculture business major.
