The Kalona City Council will discuss future construction projects at its meeting this week.  City Clerk Karen Christner says the city has plans to work on C Avenue, and will look to set a date for bids for that project.

The council will also talk about possible repairs to D Avenue and Sixth Street.  Christner says the council will also talk about work that’s almost completed on the A Avenue Bridge.

In addition to discussion about street repairs, council members will also consider hiring a Parks and Recreation Superintendent.  The Kalona City Council meets tomorrow night at 7:30 in the Kalona Community Center.
