The Washington Demon football team will host the Clear Creek-Amana Clippers tonight with both teams looking for their first district wins. The Demons are 1-3 on the season and 0-2 in district play. The Clippers are 0-4. Clear Creek-Amana was without their returning starting quarterback the first three games in Dillon Villhauer. Villhauer saw his first action facing defending state champs Solon in a 38-9 loss. The Demons meanwhile, dropped a heart breaker in overtime to Benton Community 22-21. The Clippers are notorious for their spread pass heavy offense, Demon Head Coach Randy Shrader says they hope to pressure him to disrupt their offense. Since joining the Demons’ district in 2008, the Clippers have had the Demons number.
