The ISU Extension has announced a new program intended to help caregivers take the best possible care of their family and friends in need. Regional Extension Education Director Gene Mohling says the program, called “Powerful Tools for Caregivers” is an educational series designed to help caregivers take care of themselves, which in turn allows them to take better care of their loved ones.
He says classes will consist of six 90 minute sessions held every Wednesday. Mohling says the sessions begin September 28 at the Sigourney Care Center’s Windsor Place.
To get registered for the program, residents can call the Keokuk County Extension Office by September 21.
