[simage=2319,400,y,center]A former Fairfield woman and her musical group are returning for a concert at the Sondheim Center.  Ali Sperry is one of the vocalists for the group Sweetwater Rose.

She says the music they sing takes the audience back to the 1960s with a bit of country influence as well.  Sperry says her musical inspirations growing up included Bob Dylan, Joni Mitchell, and more recently Sara Bareilles.

She says the group was assembled based on the chemistry of their voices when they sang together.  The group released its first album earlier this year, which includes a number of songs the three wrote themselves.

Sweetwater Rose will perform tonight at the Sondheim Center in Fairfield.
