Proposed customers of the new Regional Utility Service Systems (RUSS) in Richmond are invited to a meeting tonight at the Kalona Community Center.  Geode Resource Conservation and Development Specialist Tracy Balbort says this meeting is to review the preliminary sewer routes with the project engineer and to sign easements.

She says any easement that is signed before the project begins will mean no homeowner will incur any fees to be hooked up to the system.

Balbort says those coming need to bring a valid form of identification for notarization purposes of the easements.  Tonight’s meeting is from 5:30 to 7:30 in the Kalona Community Center.
