Washington 7th Grade students get a chance to explore health care careers later this month.  Jennifer Ott at Kirkwood Community College says the 131 students will be touring the Junior Mini Medical School at the University of Iowa Health Care the end of the month.  She says they will begin in the Carver College of Medicine with a gross anatomy lesson where they will get to hold real human organs.

The tour is sponsored by the Workplace Learning Connection and University of Iowa Health Care.  To learn more about Workplace Learning Connection, click here. Find out about the University of Iowa Health Care here.
