Registrations for a seminar coming up for healthcare staff are still being accepted.  Lynn Fisher with Washington County Public Health says Immunization Update 2011 is a half-day conference that will talk about vaccine recommendations for this year and next year.  She adds they will have a representative from the Center’s for Disease Control, Iowa Department of Public Health, and from the State Hygienic Lab.

Fisher adds anyone who administers vaccinations is best suited to attend.  This seminar is coming up September 23rd at the Riverside Casino and Golf Resort and is sponsored by Washington County Public Health and Mercy Services of Kalona.  Registrations are due by September 16th to Lynn Fisher at Washington County Public Health.
