Lone Tree Jumps Two Spots in Rankings

In the latest AP high school football rankings, one area team moved up. In Class A, the Lone Tree Lions were number six last week, this week they moved up to number four. Fellow district team Lisbon is right above them at number three. Elsewhere in 3A, Demon district school Solon is ranked number six up from number eight, while Williamsburg dropped out of the rankings after a loss to Grinnell. In 2A, Mid-Prairie’s opponent Friday, Mediapolis moved up from number six to number five. As for the number ones in each class:

4A Cedar Falls
3A Clear Lake (Heelan drops to number 9 with their first loss of the season)
2A Regina
1A St. Albert, Council Bluff
A Gehlen Le Mars
8-Man Armstrong-Ringsted
