Main Street Washington is looking for a worthy project in its downtown district.  Amy Vetter with Main Street says some unused funds from other Main Street Challenge Grant rounds has allowed them to look for another way to improve downtown.  She says the projects need to range in price from 15 to 50 thousand dollars.

Vetter notes a 100% dollar for dollar match must be met as well as no other federal and state program awards can be used to fulfill the match.  The one page project summaries are due today and for more information, contact Amy Vetter at Main Street Washington.
