Proposed customers in Richmond who are part of the new Regional Utility Service Systems (RUSS) are invited to a meeting tonight at the Kalona Community Center. Tracy Balbort, Geode Resource Conservation and Development Specialist says the preliminary sewer routes with the project engineer will be reviewed in this meeting and the proper easements will be signed.
She says any easement that is signed before the project begins will mean no homeowner will incur any fees to be hooked up to the system. Balbort says a valid form of identification should be brought for notarization purposes of the easements.
Tonight’s meeting is from 5:30 to 7:30 in the Kalona Community Center.
