A state business organization is accepting nominations for its annual award, and a spokesman for the group says they’re looking for innovative Iowans in the public service industry.  Marisol Molstre with the Iowa Business Council says residents can nominate employees or units who work with a local, county, or state level agency and use innovative techniques to improve productivity that results in better public services for residents.

Molstre says people can nominate their local officials by sending the proper information to the Iowa Business Council.  The deadline to submit that information is September 30.
