Eight historic sites around Washington County will open their doors Sunday afternoon for a joint open house event with the Washington County Historical Society.  From 1-4 The Blair, Conger and Court Houses, D.A.R. Cabin, F Troop Military Museum, Red Brick and Walnut Schools of Washington along with the Smith Creek School of Wellman will all be welcoming visitors for tours of their facilities.

Carlton Mangold with the historical society and director of the Red Brick School invites people to come out and see Washington County history at country school houses, military museums and other sites.

Ruth Pallmer with the historical society and Smith Creek School in Wellman invites people to stop in and tour some of these historic places that they drive by each day. Volunteer Assistance with tours is available and free will donations will be accepted.
