A Washington resident is being featured on a national program today.  Andrew McCrea, host of the show “American Countryside” visited Washington to visit with Julie Zieser about the world’s tallest corn stalk.  McCrea says he chose to feature Zieser and the corn stalk because of its interesting nature.

Zieser is the daughter of Don Radda who grew the tall corn in 1946.  Radda received recognition from Ripley’s Believe It or Not, the Guinness Book of World Records, and the Encyclopedia Britannica among newspapers and magazines all over the country.  To hear the interview, click here [2].
