The Wellman City Council is one step closer to hiring a new City Administrator.  During last night’s meeting, the Council worked on trying to finalize the contract for the new City Administrator.  The Council agreed to a starting salary with a possible increase after six months of employment.

These changes to the contract will be presented to the person chosen.  The new Administrator’s name will be released upon signing the contract with the city.

The Council also established a public hearing for October 17th regarding the new wastewater treatment plant and the lining in two sewer lines.
