National 4-H Week continues and 4‑H youth are being honored who have made an impact in the community.  4-H County Council member Lexi Marek says the fourth leaf on the 4-H clover represents health.   She says health is one of the greatest powers in your life by making the hardest task easy and the heaviest loads will be made light.

Marek adds being healthy helps you to think clearly and be more kind to others and will be able to help you work easily and well.  She says maintaining the health of animals is important when it comes to showing them for the fairs.

Marek says the County Council is also helping local farmers stay healthy as well by giving them “Stay Safe, Take a Break Bags.” She says the bags are being delivered to various elevators, fields and towns throughout the County.

The bags include a water bottle, treats, hand sanitizer and other items.  Marek says these bags are to let farmers know they are appreciated and to help them stay safe.  These bags were delivered last year to local farmers as well.
