Contractors have completed their work for a construction project.  Environmental Management Services of Iowa, Inc. (EMSI) based in Dubuque has finished the asbestos removal from the buildings located at 207, 209 and 211 South Marion Avenue.

The cost for this project was a little under $13,000.  A public hearing set for next Wednesday during the City Council meeting is the next step in this project.

A bid date is set for the end of the month for the demolition of the buildings.
