The Washington County Board of Supervisors have approved the initiation of a jail bond refunding process as part of their meeting yesterday.  These jail bond refunds would allow the County to lock in a lower interest rate on the notes.  This process can only be done one time over the life of the bonds.

They also heard Quarterly Reports from Washington County General Assistance and Washington County Veteran Affairs.  Bids for a replacement of a County ambulance were approved as well.

This replacement will cost over $146,000 after a $7000 trade in of a current ambulance.  The new ambulance is being purchased from Life Line Emergency Vehicles based in Sumner and will be part of the fiscal year 2013 budget.
