Those invited were City Council At-Large candidates Karen Wilson-Johnson and Mark Kendall.  Incumbent Karen Wilson-Johnson says she has enjoyed her three years being on the Council and it has been a great experience.  Mark Kendall says he has been a resident, property and business owner in Washington for ten years and is asking for everyone’s vote.

Also speaking in the forum were the candidates in uncontested races Ward 1 Council member Bob Shepherd and At‑Large Park Board member Larry Bartlett who both gave a statement at the beginning of the forum.  The moderated event was hosted by the Washington Chamber of Commerce.

The forum was presented live on AM and FM KCII and streamed on our website.  The full forum can also be found under Radio Plus on the home page.
