Residents in Richmond have one final chance to participate in signing up for easements.  The easements are part of the new Regional Utility Service Systems (RUSS).  Tracy Balbort with the Geode Resource Conservation and Development says the preliminary sewer routes wit the project engineer are being reviewed and the easements will be signed.

Currently, 27 homeowners have signed up for the easements and she adds the easements that are signed now will mean no homeowner will have any fees to be hooked up to the system.

Balbort says a valid form of identification should be brought for notarization purposes of the easements.  This final meeting takes place from 5:00 to 7:30 Wednesday in the Kalona Community Center.
