The final Washington Farmer’s Market is tonight. Market Director Bob Shepherd says this has been a great year at the market despite the drought. He says they will have root crops and squash as well as peppers and tomatoes.
Shepherd says there will also be one last chance to stock up on baked goods which are good to freeze and use during the holidays.
This was the 23rd year for Farmer’s Market and the last one for the year starts tonight at 5:00 in Central Park.
