The Washington County Conservation Board will be their annual Halloween Hike focusing prairie wildlife.  Naturalist Pam Holz says there will be discussions about spiders and the underground prairie life.  There will also be crafts and a prairie puppet theater for children.

She adds there will also be a pumpkin carving contest as well.  Holz says the carved pumpkins need to be dropped off at the Conservation Center on Friday, October 14th between 8:00 and 4:30 or the day of the hike by 1:00.

The Hike will be Saturday, October 15th from 6:45 to 8:30pm at Marr Park.  The hike will occur rain or shine.  For more information, contact the Conservation Board at Marr Park.
