The high school football playoffs resume tonight, and one area team will be in action when Lone Tree heads to Brooklyn to face BGM. Lone Tree is ranked sixth and are coming off a 49-7 win over Iowa Valley. BGM won their opening round game against Danville 47-0. The Lions and BGM met in week six when both teams were ranked. It was the Lions who won that game 32-6. Lone Tree Head Coach Mike Miller says in that game they got some momentum with key third and long and a couple of fourth down conversions. He feels they can’t rely on that tonight. The winner will face the winner of top ranked Lisbon and Lynnville-Sully. You’ll be able to hear tonight’s game on KCII. 6:45 pregame and 7:00 kickoff.
