The next meeting for women interested in marketing grains takes place on Monday evening.  Nancy Adrian with the Washington County Extension says this meeting provides an opportunity for women to get together who are involved in agriculture to learn more about marketing grains.  She adds this could be for grain that is already harvested or for a crop that will be planted in the coming year.

Adrian notes Washington County is one of only three locations in the state to offer this class.  The first meeting held in August had 13 women in attendance.

The meeting is Monday evening at 6:00 and pre-registration is preferred for the free class to make sure there are enough materials and handouts.  To sign up, contact the Washington County Extension.
