The Mid-Prairie High School Drama group is hosting a soup supper tonight. Mid-Prairie High School Drama Director Tamara McClintock says the large group speech contest will be performing various types of acts including improvisation, musical theater, ensemble acting, group mime, and one act plays for the entertainment. She says they decided to have the large group speech contest perform since many times the performances are held elsewhere and people do not get a chance to see them. McClintock adds many of those performing have moved on to regional and state competitions. She says the soup supper starts at 5:00 tonight and the entertainment begins at 5:15 in the Mid-Prairie High School Cafeteria. McClintock says this soup supper raises funds for paying for the speech contests as well as for the upgrading of lighting in their performance facility.
