Washington High School is participating in an event designed to prepare students for the future next week. Jennifer Ott at Workplace Learning Connection says the current freshmen at the high school will be taking part in mock interviews.
Ott says students can’t learn everything from a textbook and this will give them a chance to work on skills such as a solid hand shake, introducing themselves with confidence, good eye contact and selling themselves.
The freshmen will fill out a sample application prior to the interviews taking place with 20 Washington area businesses on the morning of the 20th at the high school.
