The Washington County Extension Office is hosting a Mosquito and Public Health Pest Management Continuing Instructional Course (CIC) for commercial pesticide applicators next week. The program will be shown the morning of the 27th at locations across Iowa including the Washington County Extension office.

This year’s course provides continuing instructional credit for commercial pesticide applicators certified in Community Insect Management, Public Health Pest Control and Demonstration and Research.

Those coming will learn about laws and regulations, pesticide toxicity and exposure, as well as an update on mosquitoes, ticks and spiders. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. followed by sessions from 9:00 to 11:30.  Registration is $35 by tomorrow by calling the Washington County Extension.
