Washington County Public Health still has plenty of seasonal flu shots available. Program Director Chrystal Woller says clinics are performed throughout the entire county.

Those in a higher risk category of catching the flu are children age six months to 18 years of age, pregnant women, anyone over the age of 50, those with chronic medical conditions and residents of nursing homes.

Woller says the vaccine takes two weeks to fully protect you from the flu and recommends getting the vaccine right away.  To find out the times when the flu shots will be given, follow this link here.
