Organizers of the Quad County Pork Fest are pleased with the event.  Tom Buckwalter with the Wellman Chamber of Commerce says the attendance was steady throughout the day.  He says different activities during the day were a big draw for the crowd as well.

Buckwalter says their goals were met for the day even though there were some overlapping events.  He adds some things will be tweaked for next year.  Buckwalter says the next event happening in Wellman will be the annual fall harvest party at the Wellman skating rink.
