Motorists will not be able to access one intersection in central Washington County starting today.  Washington County Engineer David Patterson says the intersection of 255th Street and Quince Avenue will be closed to thru traffic for the replacement of a reinforced concrete box culvert project.

He says the work is part of regrading and surface work on Quince Avenue from 260th Street to Highway 92.  Construction is expected to be completed in two to three weeks.  The contract for the project was awarded to DeLong Construction of Washington for a little over $354,000.
