The Washington High School PTO is receiving a grant to highlight farm life.  GenerationOn has awarded the PTO $250 to support this service project.  Alicia Vittetoe says this project will be started next week and will have the youth shooting video and making DVDs for local nursing home residents of harvest, tractors, combines, farm life, farm animals, fall trees and environment this time of the year.

This will allow community nursing home residents who are not able to leave the facility, past farmers and those who grew up on farms to see today’s farming environment, harvest, equipment and farm life.  GenerationOn receives the funds from their founding partner Hasbro and this project is part of GenerationOn Make Your Mark Week.
