The Washington Waste Water Treatment Plant and Yard Waste Center will be open extra hours in November.  Washington residents can haul their own waste to the center from 7:00 to 4:00 Monday through Friday and from 7:00 to 10:00 Saturday mornings throughout the month of November.

The only things that cannot be accepted are lumber or building materials of any type.

Residents who use plastic garbage bags are asked to dump the contents and take the bag with you when leaving.  For more information, contact the Waste Water Treatment Plant at (319) 653-2638.
