The City of Wellman has lifted the boil advisory as a result of last week’s major water main break. City Clerk Donna Wade says on Thursday of last week a boil advisory was issued by the DNR as a precautionary measure as a result of low or no pressure.

Water samples taken both Thursday and Friday came back negative and the boil advisory has been lifted. Wade says the main was repaired Friday.
