4-H clubs wanting to join in local community improvement projects have an incentive to do so.  Amy Green, 4-H/Youth Coordinator says grants are being awarded to use as “seed money” for clubs to start their project.

The grants awarded range from $25 to $250.  Green notes the grants are for new projects only, not those already completed or in progress.

The applications are due by the first of December.  To find out more information, contact the Washington County Extension office.
