An author of children’s books is visiting Washington tomorrow.  Author Carol Gorman will be a guest at Lincoln Elementary to talk with the students in each grade level, answer questions and autograph copies of her books.

Gorman says she will be talking with students about her books and the focus will be things from her life that have gone into the books.  She has written such books as Dork in Disguise, Chelsey and the Green-Haired Kid and Slumptown Kid.

Gorman says after her visits she will receive many comments from students saying they were inspired and want to be a writer.  Gorman will be taking part in assemblies at Lincoln as well as have lunch with the staff tomorrow.
