The Washington Athletic Boosters will immediately begin the process of renovating the baseball field after being awarded a grant from the Washington County Riverboat Foundation. In addition to the grant of $62,500, another $82,000 earmarked for the Baseball Field Renovation Project was donated by many generous Washington community donors. The boosters plan to have the first phase completed for the May 2012 Demon baseball season.
