Black Friday was a very good day for local merchants in Washington.  Angie Staley, Manager at The Edge 2 on the square says there were a few people when she first opened, slowed down mid-morning but then shopping traffic increased and remained steady the rest of the day as customers came in to buy items.

Staley says customer traffic has seen the same amount if not more customers as last year which was her first holiday season.
