The City of Columbus Junction will have their regular Council meeting on Wednesday. The primary item on the agenda is a discussion of a Flood Plain Variance Request by the Louisa County Fair Board. The Fair Board wants to build a new building at the fair grounds. It would be a building meant to host gatherings. The building’s planned location falls in a flood plain so council members will have to approve its construction. This meeting will take place at 5:30 pm in the New Civic Center.
