The Iowa Soybean growers of District nine will be meeting in Fairfield to discuss policies. This meeting occurs every year as part of the Iowa Soybean Association. It gives individual farmers a chance to bring up issues with the district representatives before they go to the state policy conference. District leaders say this is an important meeting because it means even the decisions made at the top are influenced by the individual farmer. Mark Jackson, chair of the ISA Resolution committee, says it means all of their recommendations will represent all of Iowa’s soybean growers. The meeting will be November 28th at the Best Western in Fairfield.
