Iowa State University Extension is offering extra hours to their hotline this week.  Liz Meimann with the Answer Line says they are normally closed during the typical lunch hour, but decided to remain open this week since many people are getting ready for Thanksgiving this week.

She says they have three specialists who see more calls in the weeks before the holidays.  Meimann notes the difference between this hotline and the one sponsored by Butterball, is that this one is open all year versus the holiday season.

She says anyone wanting to know information can also submit an email to find an answer.  The hours are from 9am – 4pm by calling 800-262-3804 or email at answer@iastate.edu.  You can also find more information here.
