Lone Tree Hosts Lisbon in Football Quarterfinals

The Lone Tree Lion football team takes the field tonight to play for the right to go to the dome. The Lions face Lisbon who also has the Lion knickname. Lone Tree is coming off a one point road win over BGM on Monday in which they won 14-13. Now Lone Tree returns home to host top ranked Lisbon. Lisbon was down 18-16 at halftime to Lynnville-Sully but ended up winning 44-33.

Lone Tree is 10-1 with their only loss to Lisbon 35-7 in week seven. Lone Tree Head Coach Mike Miller says they came away from that game wanting another shot at them. Lone Tree is ranked sixth while Lisbon is ranked number one and unbeaten on the season. You’ll be able to hear tonight’s game right here on the one to count on KCII.
