The Residents for a Better Richmond group is suing Washington County over the refusal of easement fees charged by RUSS in regards to their sewer system. Richmond was told by the DNR that they would need to have a new sewer system in place by July of next year. Larry Brock, Washington County Attorney, says if easements for this project are refused, RUSS can charge over $2000. The Residents for a better Richmond Group is a non-profit organization. They filed the lawsuit challenging the legality of these fees on October 31st.
