Around 5:34 yesterday afternoon, the Henry County Sheriff’s Office was sent to the scene of a one vehicle and property damage accident in the 1200 block of Dakota Avenue.  Upon investigation, a red 1994 Ford Explorer driven by 38 year old Arlis Forbess from Brighton was rolled over on its side in the east ditch.  Forbess had left the scene and was found later at 202 West Main Street in Wayland with minor injuries.

After further investigation, Forbess was arrested for public intoxication, no proof of insurance and failure to maintain control.  Damage was estimated at $2500.
